HackCMU 2025

Grateful to have been a mentor at HackCMU 2025 this past weekend!

I had the opportunity to mentor 50+ teams, and it was inspiring to see such creativity and passion come alive in just 24 hours. From brainstorming sessions to debugging marathons, I loved helping hackers shape their ideas, refine solutions, and overcome roadblocks.

One of the highlights for me was when a team decided to name their chatbot after me — Coach Qunal (yes, with a “Q” on purpose). That truly made my day and reminded me of why I enjoy being part of hackathons: it’s all about building, learning, and having fun together.
